The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the registration deadline for UGMAC (AYUSH) 2026 Round 3 counselling to November 3. The revision gives eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates additional time to apply for BAMS, BHMS and BUMS admissions in Bihar’s government and private AYUSH colleges.

The November 1 extension notice, Advertisement No. 08, cites technical reasons and candidates’ interests. Registration was earlier scheduled to close on November 1.

Revised Round 3 Schedule

Candidates should note that registration closes earlier than application submission and payment:

  • Online registration: November 3, 10 pm.

  • Application submission, payment and editing: November 3, 11:59 pm.

  • Required consent and applicable payment for registered candidates: November 3, 11:59 pm.

  • Rank card: November 4, 4 pm.

  • Choice filling, editing and locking: November 4, 11:59 pm.

  • Provisional seat allotment: November 7.

  • Allotment order download: November 7–11.

  • Document verification and admission: November 9–11.

The choice-filling deadline, allotment result date and admission window remain unchanged. Only registration-related deadlines and rank card publication have shifted under the revised schedule.

Who Needs to Apply or Give Consent?

Eligible first-time applicants and candidates whose earlier applications remained incomplete may apply, subject to the prescribed conditions.

Previously registered candidates who have completed their applications and payments should check whether they need to submit fresh consent for Round 3. They should not assume that an earlier registration automatically confirms participation.

Candidates already holding AYUSH seats must carefully review the rules governing admission status, resignation and All India Quota counselling before proceeding.

Prepare Your Choices in Advance

The rank card will be released at 4 pm on November 4, while choice filling and locking will close at 11:59 pm the same day. This leaves just under eight hours between rank card publication and the choice-locking deadline.

Aspirants should therefore shortlist colleges and courses beforehand, consult the latest seat matrix, arrange preferences carefully and retain a copy of their locked choices. The extension notice does not confirm a total vacancy count.

Check Fees and Payment Status

Government AYUSH counselling fees are ₹1,200 for UR, EWS, BC and EBC candidates, and ₹600 for SC, ST and DQ candidates. The fee for private colleges, or both government and private options, is ₹1,200 for all categories.

The security deposit is ₹10,000 for government colleges and ₹50,000 for private colleges or both options. Counselling fees are non-refundable; security deposits remain subject to refund and forfeiture rules.

Confirm successful payment on the portal; a bank debit alone does not establish completion. Keep a downloaded copy of the application and payment receipt.

Allotment Is Not Final Admission

The November 7 result will be provisional, not a final admission confirmation. Allotted candidates must follow their allotment order and complete document verification and admission within the stipulated period.

Keep NEET UG documents, academic certificates, application confirmation, identity proof and relevant reservation documents ready. Failure to report or meet eligibility requirements may lead to cancellation, deposit forfeiture and restrictions on subsequent counselling, as applicable.

Candidates should monitor the official BCECEB notice board for further updates.
