HIMACHAL PRADESH NEET UG 2023 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have qualified for the NEET 2023 by scoring more than or equal to the cut-off percentile.

Qualifying Exam: 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized board.

Minimum Age Requirement: 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission

Maximum Age Limit: No upper age limit

Qualifying Marks: UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects)

Maximum Attempts: No limit on the permitted number of attempts.

Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals

Domicile: The candidates will be eligible for admission if,

  1. Their parents are living in Himachal Pradesh, and they have passed two exams (class 10/11/12) from a school in Himachal Pradesh.
  2. They are children of Government of India employees and have cleared class 11.
  3. They are children of regular employees of the Himachal Pradesh Government.
  4. Their parents live in Himachal Pradesh and work for the Central Government.
  5. Their parents are residents of Himachal Pradesh and are serving in the Indian Defence Services, are Ex-Servicemen, or belong to Para Military Forces.

HIMACHAL PRADESH NEET UG 2023: Required Documents

. Required documents for HP NEET UG Admission are given below:

  1. A small passport-sized photo (the same one used in the application form).
  2. NEET admit card 2023.
  3. NEET 2023 result and scorecard.
  4. Class 12, mark sheet and certificates.
  5. Class 10, mark sheet and certificates.
  6. Character certificate (given by your previous school or institute).
  7. Class 10, mark sheet or birth certificate (to prove your date of birth).
  8. Class 11, mark sheet.
  9. Domicile certificate (if applicable).
  10. Caste certificate (if applicable).
  11. Special category certificate (if applicable).
  12. PwD certificate (if applicable).

For application/ Registration:

·        Photo identity proof (Aadhar card) PDF up to 500 kb

To apply for HP UG medical/dental 2023 admission, candidates need to fill out an online application form. They should make sure to submit the filled application before the last date.   6. Log in again to complete the application form.
  7. Provide your personal and academic details.
  8. Review the form before submitting it.

HIMACHAL PRADESH NEET UG 2023 Counselling: Registration fee

To complete the registration process, candidates are required to pay the HIMACHAL PRADESH NEET UG counselling fee. The fee consists of non-refundable components and must be paid online.

Non-refundable Fee:

  • General/OBC: Rs. 2000/-
  • SC/ST/PH: Rs. 1000/-

HIMACHAL PRADESH NEET UG Counselling Process: Merit List

After candidates register online, Atal Medical & Research University will publish the merit list for HIMACHAL PRADESH NEET UG, based on their NEET UG 2023 scores. Only those candidates included in this list will be allowed to take part in the counselling process for HIMACHAL PRADESH NEET UG 2023.

HIMACHAL PRADESH NEET UG Counselling Process: Counselling Process 

After the state merit list is announced, selected candidates will be allowed to take part in the Himachal Pradesh UG 2023 medical counselling.

To participate in HP State Counselling for UG NEET 2023, candidates can visit the official portal of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU)/ Atal Medical & Research University, Shimla, and register themselves. Here's a step-by-step process for Counselling:

  1. Candidates with higher merit ranks, whose names are on the state merit list, will be called for HP NEET Counselling 2023.
  2. Applicants must register for HP NEET UG Counselling 2023 admission through the official website.
  3. After registration, candidates need to choose and prioritize their preferred courses and colleges for seat allotment.
  4. Candidates who are allotted seats in HP NEET Counselling 2023 must report to the assigned colleges within the specified dates and timings.  

Reporting to the Institute & Required Documents
