The XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) 2023 was held on January 8 and its result is most likely to be announced by the third or fourth week of January. 

The Conducting body released the XAT 2023 response sheet on January 10. Students can check the answer key and response sheet at the official website of the exam which is xatonline.in. Aspirants can download and calculate their score as well as raise objections on the official website from today onwards. 

According to the XAT 2023 exam analysis, the exam was of moderate difficulty level. Exam pattern and sectional weightage were the same as last year. The V-LR and decision-making section was easy to moderate for the students whereas the QA-DI section of the XAT 2023 paper was tough and GK was moderate.

About XAT 2023 exam:

The XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance examination. It is conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur for admission in MBA/PGDM courses. Over 1000 business schools in India consider XAT scores for admission to their post-graduate management programmes. Apart from these 1000 colleges, XLRI and 10 other XAMI member colleges also accept XAT scores for admission. Students from different disciplines appear for this exam every year to take admission to various MBA colleges offered by the top B-schools participating in this examination. 4-5 months of serious preparation is needed to clear and get good marks in this exam. Nearly 95000 students take this examination every year. The number of test cities in 2023 was 79.

XAT 2023 exam pattern:

The mode of the examination is online. The duration of the exam is 210 minutes. A total of 105 MCQs are asked in the question paper in those 210 minutes. In 2022, the XAT exam pattern was revised. Essay writing was introduced in the paper and the time duration was increased by 10 minutes. The XAT exam paper is divided into 4 sections. Each section has a time limit so students should make sure that they maintain adequate speed in all four sections. Each right answer carries one mark and each wrong answer carries -0.25 marks. The sections in the question paper are:

  1. Decision-making: 21 questions and 22 total marks
  2. Verbal and Logical Ability: 26 questions and 26 total marks
  3. Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation: 28 questions and 28 total marks
  4. General Knowledge: 25 questions and 25 total marks

Downloading process of XAT 2023 answer key:

The authorities released the answer key in the form of a response sheet on 10 January 2023. Students can download their XAT 2023 response sheet and answer key from the official website of the XAT exam. For that firstly they need to go to xatonline.in website and log in with their credentials. 

Aspirants can check below the whole process of downloading the XAT 2023 response sheet and answer key.

  1. Go to XAT 2023 website or click on this link: http://xatonline.in/Then click on the response sheet tab.
  2. Enter your user ID and password.
  3. Click on the ‘candidate response to generate answer key and question paper’
  4. XAT 2023 answer key will be shown on the screen.
  5. Click on the download button and save the answer key as PDF.

XAT 2023 result announcement:

XAT 2023 examination is expected to be released by the third or fourth week of January (As per the official notification, the result will be out on 31 January 2023 but it has been released in the third week of January in previous years. Students can download their scorecards from the official website of XAT and XLRI websites.
