If you have got a fresh allotment or an upgrade, you now need to download your allotment letter, pay the one-year tuition fee, get your documents verified, and report to the college within the given dates.
Key Highlights at a Glance
- Provisional result date (as published): October 11, 2026
- Fresh MBBS allotments: 2,057
- Fresh BDS allotments: 472
- Total fresh allotments: 2,529

- Last reporting time on October 15: 2:00 PM
Fresh Allotments vs Full Result List: Don’t Mix Up the Numbers
The number 2,529 is only for “fresh allotments.” It is not the total number of candidates in the Round 3 result PDF.
Based on reports on the provisional list, the result document has 8,019 candidate entries. These are made up of:
- Fresh allotments: 2,529
- Upgraded candidates: 1,444
- Round 2 joined and retained: 1,377
- Candidates who did not opt for upgradation: 2,669
This matters because many candidates in the list are keeping their earlier seats. Only some of them have actually received new seats in Round 3.
October 10 or October 11? Why the Date Is Confusing
The earlier Round 3 schedule gave October 10, 2026 as the provisional result date. But the published provisional result notice is dated October 11, 2026.
So October 11 should be treated as the official result date.
Important Deadlines Candidates Must Follow
According to the official Round 3 schedule:
- Allotment letter download/printing: October 11–15
- One-year tuition fee payment: October 11–15
- Fee payment cut-off: October 15, 12:30 PM
- Reporting and document submission: October 11–15
- Reporting hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (general)
- Last day of reporting (October 15): up to 2:00 PM only
Do not wait for the last day. Fee payment and allotment letter printing close earlier than reporting.
Who Needs to Report Again?
Read your allotment letter carefully. In general:
- Fresh allotment candidates: must report and complete the admission formalities.
- Upgraded candidates: must report again as per the instructions, even if the college is the same but the category or seat type has changed.
- Candidates who joined and kept their seats in Round 2: are generally not required to report again, unless the counselling authority clearly tells them to.
