Jaipur, September 19, 2026: The Rajasthan State NEET UG Medical/Dental Counselling Board has extended the Round 2 reporting deadline for candidates who've been allotted seats in the state counselling process. As per Notice No. State-UG Counselling Board-2026/161, dated September 15, 2026, the earlier last date of September 18 has now been pushed to September 19, giving students one extra day to wrap up their final admission formalities.
That said, candidates need to keep one important detail in mind: fee payment and physical reporting have different cut-off times today, September 19 — mixing them up could lead to last-minute confusion.

Under the revised schedule, round 2 allotted candidates need to complete:
- One-year tuition fee payment: by September 19, 2026, 12:30 PM
- Physical reporting and document submission: by September 19, 2026, 2:00 PM

- In short: the fee deadline comes before the reporting deadline. Don't assume both close at 2 PM.
Why was the deadline extended?
The Board has said this extension is because of a timeline change by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) around Round 2 data sharing. Since MCC pushed back its data-sharing date, Rajasthan's counselling authority extended its own state-level reporting timeline too, so that allotted candidates get enough time to finish the process without rushing.
Who does this extension apply to?
This extension is only for candidates who have already received a seat allotment in Rajasthan NEET UG Round 2 and still need to complete their admission.
It's important to note this isn't a reopening of Round 2 registration — the earlier stages of Round 2 are already done, including:
- Fresh registration (September 6–8)
- Choice filling and security deposit (September 7–10)
- Auto-lock (September 10, 11:45 PM)
Also worth remembering: the Round 2 seat allotment result came out on September 14, 2026, so today's update shouldn't be mistaken for a fresh "result announcement." The real news here is the extended fee payment and reporting deadlines, which end today.
