NEET-UG 2026: Second Round of Online Counselling Date Announced Schedule of admission to Medical and Nursing courses through NEET 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 100% Deemed/Central Universities is applicable. Candidates should note that there are many steps after the ‘Server Time’ in the Schedule and should observe each deadline.

NEET UG 2026 Round-2 Online Counselling Schedule- Important Dates & Procedure:

1) Verification of Provisional Seat Matrix (by Institutes) - 01 September to 02 September, 2026

During this period the participating institutes will check and confirm the matrix of seats.

2) Registration & Payment - 03rd September - 08th September 2026 - Last Date of Registration is 08th September 2026 03:00 PM (Server Time) - Payment facility available till 08th September 2026 till 06:00 PM (Server Time)

3) Choice Filling & Choice Locking – Choice Filling: 03-09-2026 to 09-09-2026 10.00 AM (Server Time) - Choice filling will close at 09-09-2026 10.00 AM (Server Time) Choice Locking 4:00pm 8th September 2026 - 10:00am 9th September 2026 (Server Time)

The candidates have to lock and fill their choices within the stipulated time, said the official, adding that the choices not locked will not be considered for finality.

4) Seat Allotment Process- 09 September to 10 September, 2026

5) Round-2 Result – September 11, 2026

6) Reporting/Joining (Reporting to the allotted college) – 12th September 2026 to 18th September 2026

This is a very important stage, if the reporting is not done within stipulated time, then it may so happen that the allotted seat may get cancelled.

7) verification- Verification of data of Joined candidates (Institutes) 19-09-2026
