Rohtak, September 20, 2026: If you have a Round-2 MBBS/BDS seat allotment in Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026, today is an important day. As per the official schedule on the UHSR/DMER Haryana counselling portal, the final joining deadline is September 20, 2026, up to 4:00 PM, at your allotted institute.
In simple words: even if you've completed verification and downloaded your allotment letter, the process is only complete once you actually join or report at the college before the deadline. And the deadline really does mean 4 PM — not a few minutes later.
What is ending today?
Round-2 counselling had several steps — registration, choice locking, allotment, fee payment, and verification. Now the final step is due:
- • Last date to join/report at the allotted institute: 20 September 2026, till 4:00 PM
This is the most important thing candidates need to act on right now, because missing this deadline can put your allotted seat at risk.
Verification is already over — don't go to the wrong place
Many candidates confuse the verification venue with the joining venue. Here's the difference:
- • Physical document verification (already done): 17–19 September, 9 AM–4 PM, at Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B.D. Sharma UHS, Rohtak
- • Final joining/reporting (today): at your allotted medical or dental college, not at the auditorium
UHSR had also given a final chance to candidates who had missed verification or had some documents pending, letting them complete it by September 19, 4 PM. After that, the process moved ahead with verified candidates only.
Provisional Admission Letter: last day to download
Candidates who completed verification could download their provisional admission letter between September 17 and September 20. If you haven't downloaded yours yet, do it now — without it, reporting at the college becomes much harder.

Checklist before 4 PM today
- 1. Download and print your provisional admission letter, if you haven't already.
- 2. Keep your original documents along with one set of photocopies, as per UHSR's document list.
- 3. Carry proof of fee payment or the security amount, if applicable.
- 4. Reach your allotted institute early and finish the joining formalities within the deadline.
- 5. Follow the college's instructions on timing and counters — simply being on campus is not the same as completing joining.
