Where to Report
Reporting is not the same for every college. You must report according to the type of college allotted to you.
1. Government Medical Colleges (MBBS)
- Scrutiny and admission will be completed at the allotted medical college itself.
2. Government Dental College (BDS)
- Report at the allotted dental college for verification and admission.
3. Private Medical Colleges (Common Centre)
- For some private medical colleges, the DME has fixed a common reporting venue:
- Teacher Training Institute Building, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences & Ayush University, Chhattisgarh, Uparwara, Naya Raipur
4. Private Dental Colleges (Common Centre)
- Reporting centre: Government Dental College, Raipur
Before you travel, please check your allotment letter and the official notice once again.
Why Scrutiny Is Important
Scrutiny is not just a routine step. It is the official check of your eligibility, category claim, domicile status (where applicable) and academic documents. As per the notice, you must appear in person within the given time. If you do not, you may be removed from the counselling and admission process for the current academic session.
Warning: Not Joining or Leaving a Seat
The DME has also warned candidates about the consequences of not following through after allotment:
- If you are allotted a seat but do not take admission, your registration amount may be forfeited.
- If you take admission and later give up the seat, forfeiture may still apply.
- Such actions may also lead to exclusion from further counselling for the year, as per the rules.
Documents to Carry (Illustrative Checklist)
The notice asks candidates to check the admission rules for the final list of documents. Candidates usually carry the following:
- Round 3 allotment letter (the latest or revised one, if any)
- NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard
- Class 10 certificate (date of birth proof) and Class 12 marksheet/pass certificate
