Candidates seeking admission to BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses in Bihar have been given more time to complete Round 3 UGMAC (AYUSH) 2026 counselling. Through Advertisement No. 08 dated 1 November 2026, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) revised the schedule, citing technical reasons and candidates’ interests.

Registration closes on 3 November at 10 pm. Application submission, form editing, fee payment and Round 3 consent for eligible candidates who have already registered remain open until 11.59 pm the same day. These are separate deadlines, so candidates should take care not to confuse them.

Revised Round 3 schedule

  • Registration: 3 November, up to 10 pm

  • Application submission, editing, fee payment and eligible candidates’ consent: 3 November, up to 11.59 pm

  • Rank card: 4 November, 4 pm

  • Choice filling, editing and locking: 4 November, up to 11.59 pm

  • Provisional seat allotment result: 7 November

  • Allotment order download: 7–11 November

  • Document verification and admission: 9–11 November

Who should register or give consent?

Round 3 is for candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 and meet BCECEB’s eligibility requirements. Fresh applicants who did not register earlier—or who registered but did not submit a completed application with the required fee and security deposit—may apply if they fulfil the other conditions and have not already taken admission to an AYUSH college.

Some previously registered candidates should use their existing UGMAC account to submit Round 3 consent rather than register again. This may include eligible candidates who paid but did not fill in choices, received no Round 1 seat, or had an allotment cancelled under the notified rules and remained without a Round 2 seat. Round 2 Float and Freeze candidates should consult the detailed notice, as specific restrictions apply to changing choices.

Fees, choices and seat allotment

For government-college-only preferences, the counselling fee is ₹1,200 for UR/EWS/BC/EBC candidates and ₹600 for SC/ST/DQ candidates. If private colleges are included, the fee is ₹1,200. The security deposit is ₹10,000 for government-only choices and ₹50,000 when private colleges are included. The counselling fee is non-refundable; security deposit refunds are subject to BCECEB’s rules.

After payment, candidates should download their rank card, review the latest seat matrix and arrange BAMS, BHMS and BUMS colleges in their genuine order of preference. Choices must be saved and locked before the deadline. Seat allocation follows a merit-cum-choice process, taking into account NEET All India Rank, UGMAC merit rank, preferences, vacancies and reservation rules. Registration alone does not guarantee a seat.

Result and reporting: key instructions

The result scheduled for 7 November will be provisional, not final admission confirmation. Candidates allotted a seat can download their allotment order between 7 and 11 November and must report to the allotted college for verification and admission from 9 to 11 November.

Candidates should carry original documents, including their NEET admit card and scorecard, Class 10 and 12 certificates, applicable residence or category certificates, Aadhaar, photographs and UGMAC application confirmation page. Failure to report, complete verification or take admission within the prescribed period may lead to seat cancellation and security deposit forfeiture. Such candidates may also be barred from the Stray Vacancy Round.

Before submitting choices, candidates should verify their eligibility and the latest seat matrix on the official BCECEB website. Completing each step well before the cut-off can help avoid last-minute difficulties.
