The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) released the UGMAC 2026 Round 2 provisional seat allotment result on 25 September. If you’re one of the candidates waiting on this, you can download your provisional allotment order until 29 September through the official portal, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. This round covers MBBS, BDS and other listed undergraduate courses in Bihar.

Before you start making travel plans, there’s an important correction to keep in mind: document verification and admission will now take place from 27 to 29 September 2026, not from 26 September as earlier planned.

Why the dates changed

The board’s earlier notice, dated 15 September, had set allotment for 24 September and admission for 26–28 September. That changed with Advertisement No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/08, issued on 17 September, after Mamta Medical College and Hospital, Siwan, was added to the seat matrix — which pushed the whole schedule forward.

How to download your allotment order

Head to the official BCECEB website and open the UGMAC 2026 section. Log in to your candidate dashboard, check your Round 2 allotment, and download the provisional order from there.

Take a moment to double-check the allotted college, course, category and seat type before moving ahead. You’ll also need to complete any document upload, willingness option, or payment step shown on your dashboard, and keep an eye out for correction requests if any come up.

Remember, this allotment is still provisional — you still need to meet the eligibility conditions and finish the admission steps that apply to your chosen willingness option. Simply downloading the order doesn’t mean your admission is confirmed.

Freeze or Float — know the difference

If you choose Freeze, you’re accepting the seat you’ve been allotted and won’t be considered for further upgrades. In that case, you’ll need to physically report to the allotted institution with your original documents and complete admission within the given window.

Float is for candidates who still want a shot at an upgrade in the next round. If you go with Float, your uploaded documents are verified online by the allotted institution, and you don’t need to report in person at this stage. Either way, keep following the instructions on your dashboard and allotment order closely.

If you’ve already uploaded all the required documents successfully, there’s no need to upload them again — unless the portal specifically asks for a correction. If you get an SMS or email pointing out a discrepancy, make sure to submit the corrected document within the given time.

Keep your documents and fees ready

Carry your allotment order, NEET UG admit card and scorecard, UGMAC rank card, Class 10 and 12 documents, residential certificate, application confirmation page, Aadhaar, and any applicable category certificates — along with photocopies of each.

Don’t forget six passport-size photographs that match the one on your NEET admit card, plus the required check slip and biometric identification report form. If you fall under a special category, check whether any additional certificates are needed.

Missing the verification or admission deadline can lead to your seat being cancelled and your security deposit forfeited — so it’s worth planning ahead. If you’re heading into a private college, remember to check the tuition fees and other charges separately, since the counselling security deposit isn’t the full cost of admission.

Opening and closing ranks for Round 2 are also available on the official portal. Just keep in mind these reflect this round’s allotments and aren’t a guarantee of what the cutoffs will look like in the next round.

Finally, keep checking the official portal for any further instructions, and hold on to copies of everything you download and every payment receipt.
