Polytechnic is a technical education course which is generally divided into 3 years. This program is designed for individuals who want to get a diploma in the technical education field. Polytechnic can be pursued right after the student’s high school.  This course emphasizes the overall development of skills and practical experience over theoretical knowledge. After completion of this program, students get a certificate. Individuals can get jobs in various private or public organizations through this certificate.

Currently in India, many colleges offer polytechnic diplomas. The average fee for a polytechnic program is Rs 15000 to Rs 40000 per annum in India. It can vary from college to college.

The duration of Polytechnic:

Polytechnic is a diploma programme for students wanting to get a diploma in technical education. The duration of the program is usually three years which are then divided into 6 semesters.

The eligibility criteria for polytechnic:

  • The candidate should have qualified for his/her class 10th or 12th
