About the course:

MS in Anesthesiology is a 3-year long postgraduate medical program which is focused on areas like ambulatory anaesthesia, cardiothoracic anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, neuro anaesthesia, obstetrical anesthesiology and pain management. MS Anesthesiology course teaches the students on how to use drugs that minimize pain by causing numbness in the affected area.

These degree holders are allowed to perform surgeries as part of medical treatment. Anesthesiologists work with the doctor during surgery. They also assist the patients in post-surgery recovery.

MS Anesthesiology is available in most medical colleges including government and private ones. The fees in private colleges are usually higher than the government ones. The tuition fees for MS Anesthesiology can go from INR 42,000 to INR 15, 00,000 per annum.

The duration of MS Anesthesiology:

MS Anesthesiology course is a 3-year postgraduate course. During this course, students are trained in the practice of anaesthesia, critical care, and pain management, resuscitation of all acute or chronic conditions.
