About the course:
The Doctor of Medicine (MD) course is a postgraduate medical degree for MBBS students who want to study and specialize in a certain field of medicine. The eligibility criteria for MD are an MBBS degree. After completing an MBBS degree, students can go for an MD program. MD in Radiology is a 3-year long post graduate medical program for students who want to work as radiologists and treat patients. Through this course, students learn about various radiation techniques through which they can diagnose and treat the disease.
Radiology is a field where diseases are diagnosed through various radiation techniques such as MRI, X-ray, and Ultrasound etc. Radiology is used for diagnosing problems within the human body which includes the brain, digestive system or any other organ in the body.
Currently, in India, there are various private/government colleges/institutes where MD Radiology course is available. The fees in private colleges are usually higher than the government ones. The tuition fees for MD Radiology can go from INR 40,000 to INR 10, 00,000 per annum.
The duration of MD Radiology:
MD Radiology course is a 3-year postgraduate course. During this course, students study various radiation techniques through which patients’ diseases are diagnosed and treated.
