National Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences Meerut is formerly known as Mulayam Singh Yadav Medical College UP. It is situated on the National Highway (NH) 235 on Meerut-Hapur Road, Meerut. The College is Popularly Known as NCR Institute of Medical Sciences Meerut. It started in 2018 and was established by KSD Charitable Trust. It is a private medical college and is affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University. National Capital Region Institute of Medical Sciences is approved by the Medical Council of India and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

All the seats are allotted through UP- NEET counseling conducted by DGME UP/ UP State Government as per the merit secured in the UNDERGRADUATE – NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG- NEET). 

 

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS:

Candidates who are citizens of India, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and foreign nationals are eligible to take NEET.

 Qualifying Exam: 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized board.

 Minimum Age Requirement: 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission

ELIGIBILITY FOR NEET- PG:

NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) is an entrance examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations for admission to various postgraduate medical courses such as MD, MS, PG Diploma, etc. in India.

The eligibility criteria for NEET-PG admission are as follows:

 

1.    Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a recognized MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognized medical college or university.

2.    Internship: Candidates should have completed their one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March of the year in which they are appearing for NEET-PG.

3.    Registration: Candidates should have a valid registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC).

4.    Citizenship: Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), and foreign nationals are eligible to appear for NEET-PG.

5.    Minimum Qualifying Marks: General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the NEET-PG exam, while reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) must secure a minimum of 40% marks.

6.    Age Limit: There is no age limit for NEET-PG.
