NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) is an entrance examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations for admission to various postgraduate medical courses such as MD, MS, PG Diploma, etc. in India.

The eligibility criteria for NEET-PG admission are as follows:

 

1.    Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a recognized MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognized medical college or university.

2.    Internship: Candidates should have completed their one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March of the year in which they are appearing for NEET-PG.

3.    Registration: Candidates should have a valid registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC).

4.    Citizenship: Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), and foreign nationals are eligible to appear for NEET-PG.

5.    Minimum Qualifying Marks: General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the NEET-PG exam, while reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) must secure a minimum of 40% marks.

6.    Age Limit: There is no age limit for NEET-PG.

To Get Direct Admission (MD/MS) In Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Sitapur  

     steps:

1.    Fill out the online application form for NEET-PG by providing all your personal details and academic details in the UP NEET counseling official website.

2.    Upon filling out the application you need to upload scanned copies of a passport-size photo, signature, and left-hand thumb impression.  

3.    Once you’ve completed uploading the above copies, pay the registration fee of ₹3,000/- and pay the caution deposit amount of ₹30,000/- to attend counseling for only government medical colleges and ₹2,00,000/- to attend both private and government medical colleges.

4.    Note:  Caution deposit is refundable. 

5.    The merit list will be declared after applying and paying the fees.

6.    Once the merit list is declared and your name is available in the list, select and lock Hind Institute of Medical Sciences as your first preference.

7.    Based on your NEET-PG Marks your seat might get allotted in any one of the 3 rounds of UP NEET PG counselling. 

8.    Once the seat is allotted, you need to report to the college with your original mark sheets and other documents within time to secure your seat.

If you’ve not been selected in any of the 3 categories. You can attend a stray vacancy round or can get admission through management quota as well. 

Candidates who are willing to get PG admission must register for PG MCC counseling. This Counselling for the All India Quota and Management Quota will be conducted in three rounds in online by PG Medical Counsel.

Below are the simple steps to apply for MBBS admission through management quota or All India Quota Counselling.

Step 1: New Registration:

Candidate Must Register On the official website of MCC Counselling and pay an advance of Rs. 2,05,000/- on the official website as a hold. This amount will be refunded if the candidate is not allotted in any college.

Step 2: Choice Filling & College Locking (Round 1):

We need to choose PG counseling and select St. John’s Medical College (only if available in the list) from the list of Colleges appearing in the selection list and finally lock your choice on the website.

Step 3: Seat Allotment Result (Round 1):

The seat allotment of a candidate will be announced online.

Step 4: Reporting:

Candidates must report to the College within the time mentioned to get their seat allotted else you can also choose for free exit and participate in round counselling. 

Step 5: New Registration (Round 2):

Candidates who didn’t register in the first round or who didn’t get their seat allotted can also register for the second round.

Note: Already registered candidates can continue without any registration.

Step 6: College Locking and Choice Filling (Round 2):

Lock Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Sitapur by selecting them from the list. The result will be announced based on the candidate’s marks. Upon results, the candidate must report to College in order to confirm admission, and here candidate cannot avail free exit. 

Step 7: New Registration For MOP-Up Round:

This is the final round to get admission without paying any donation or capitation. Candidates who didn’t register in the 1st, 2nd round or who didn’t get any seats can also register in the Mop-Up Round. Need to select the college again. Report if a seat gets allotted. If not Candidate must apply for management quota in order to get admission.

Step 8: Stray Vacancy Round:

In this round, the candidate might get admission if there are any leftover seats in the college.
