RPVT exam will no longer be held for admission from 2023-24 onwards. It has been decided that admission will be provided through the NEET exam only.

Rajuvas University will now consider NEET UG 2024 scores for admission into B.V.Sc. and B.H. courses in place of RPVT.  NEET UG 2024 exam pattern is offline OMR sheet based. The exam pattern of NEET UG 2024 includes four subjects. Each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15 Questions, out of these 15 Questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 Questions.

NEET (UG) has been conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) since 2019 with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The test is administered for admission to MBBS and other allied medical programs.

What are the eligibility requirements for the RPVT (NEET-UG) 2024 examination?

The detailed eligibility criteria of the RPVT (NEET UG 2024)exam are mentioned below for the candidates who want to appear in this exam. The students should also make sure that they meet the following eligibility requirements for this exam.

Nationality:

The student should be a citizen of India. Non-resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of India Origin (PIO) and foreign nationals are also allowed to appear for the NEET UG 2024 exam if they wish to pursue MBBS or any other medical courses accepting NEET scores from an institute in India.

Age Limit: 

The student should attain the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will attain the same by December 31, 2024, or the last date of the year. Accordingly, the minimum date of birth of candidates should be December 31, 2007. There is no upper age limit for NEET UG 2024 exam.

Educational and Qualifying Marks Criteria: 

  • The student who has cleared/passed their Class 12 Board exam from Open Schools are allowed to register for the NEET UG 2024 exam.
  • The students who have cleared/passed 10+2 or its equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology & English subjects can apply for the NEET UG 2024 exam.
  • The qualifying aggregate for General, General-PWD and Reserved category students is 50 per cent, 45 per cent and 40 per cent respectively.
