CG PET 2024 exam date has been announced. The authorities will conduct CG PET 2024 as a pen-and-paper-based test on June 6, 2024. What are the eligibility requirements for the CGPET 2024 examination?

Here are the detailed eligibility criteria for the CGPET 2024 exam for the aspirants who wish to appear in this exam. It is important to meet the eligibility requirements of the CGPET 2024 exam because if the student fails to do so, he/she will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

For BE/B.Tech programs:

  • The student should have passed/cleared his/her class 12th or equivalent exam from the Chhattisgarh board or any other recognized board.
  • The student should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam (for the general category) and the students who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH categories, should obtained a minimum of 40% marks. 
  • The student should have studied Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as a compulsory subject.
  • Those who are appearing in their class 12th exam can also apply for this exam.

For the B.E (Biotechnology) program:

  • The students should have studied Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subjects in Class 12th.
  • The student should have scored a minimum of 45% marks and 40% for the reserved category.
  • Class 12th-pass students from recognized boards are also allowed to appear in this exam.

For B.Arch Courses:

  • The student should have cleared the class 12th from the recognized board.
  • The student should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in class 12th.
  • At least 45% of marks must be obtained by the general category students and 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
  • The student should be 16 years of age.

What steps are needed during the registration process for the CGPET 2024 examination?
